"Make a Chair from a Tree" was published in 1978 by The Taunton Press. It was written by Jennie "JA" Alexander after years of documented research and a deep reverence for the Ladderback Chair, or as the old folks call them "Post and Rung". The book dives into the anatomy of wood, as well as timeless techniques of green woodworking using mostly hand tools and wood that has not been milled (from a tree). Resulting in a chair, this book is a diving board for budding chairmakers. This book is printed by "The Lost Art Press"
